Leh - Saturday, Dec 09 2006: Only the skull and spine remained of the Blue sheep that had been killed by the snow leopard earlier. On the hike out of the Rumbak Valley, we passed the remains of the Blue sheep carcass. Following the snow leopard, birds including the Golden eagle would have fed on it. Wolves probably moved it from the initial kill position to the frozen river bed. Images from the Rumbak Valley in Hemis National Park. (Photo by Peter Horrell / http://www.peterhorrell.com)
